Common questions
What is a block?
Blocks are the pieces a Quickloom app is made of: Checklist, Counter, Habit, Budget, Flashcards, Timer and Journal. You can stack any of them in one app. Open an app, tap Edit, then Add block.
How do I add a Quickloom widget?
Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, tap Edit → Add Widget, and choose Quickloom. To pick which app it shows, touch and hold the widget and tap Edit Widget. You can count, check off a habit or tick tasks right from the widget.
Can I use Siri?
Yes. Say things like “Add one to Water in Quickloom”, “Mark Daily Walk done in Quickloom” or “Open Groceries in Quickloom”, using your own app names. The same actions appear in the Shortcuts app.
What is Ask AI, and is it private?
Tap the sparkle icon in any app and describe a change, like “add a timer” or “make it green”. On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, it runs entirely on your device using Apple’s on-device model, so nothing you type is sent to us or anyone else. On other iPhones, Quickloom understands simple requests without AI. Every change can be undone.
Does Quickloom work with Apple Reminders?
Yes. In any checklist, tap Apple Reminders to send your open tasks to a Reminders list, or to import tasks from one. iOS asks for permission the first time, and Quickloom only reads or writes Reminders when you ask it to.
Is Quickloom safe for kids?
Quickloom has no accounts, chat, ads or tracking. “Surprise me” picks from a hand-written, family-friendly list of ideas, and text suggested by AI or included in links from other people passes through a family-friendly filter.
What’s included for free, and what does Plus add?
The free plan includes 2 apps with up to 2 blocks each, using Checklist, Counter and Habit, plus widgets, reminders, sharing and Ask AI. Plus ($5.99 a month or $39.99 a year, with a 3-day free trial) adds unlimited apps and blocks, Budget, Flashcards, Timer and Journal, extra colors and the gradient look, and removes the “Made with Quickloom” mark.
What does someone see when I share an app?
Your friend gets a link with the app’s design: its name, icon, colors and blocks. Your entries are never included. If they have Quickloom, the link opens in the app; otherwise it opens the web version.
How do I restore Quickloom Plus on a new device?
Sign in with the same Apple Account, open Quickloom, tap the settings icon at the top right, then Restore purchases.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open your device’s Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions → Quickloom Plus → Cancel Subscription. You keep Plus until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Canceling during the 3-day free trial means you won’t be charged.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose Quickloom Plus.
Is my data backed up?
Your apps and entries are stored only on your device and are included in your regular iCloud or computer backups. For an extra copy, use Settings → Export my data in Quickloom.
My reminders aren’t showing up.
Check that notifications are on for Quickloom in your device’s Settings → Apps → Quickloom → Notifications, and that a Focus mode isn’t silencing them. Then open the app in Quickloom and make sure its Daily reminder switch is on.
Someone shared an app with me. How do I open it?
Tap the link. If Quickloom is installed, it opens in the app and asks whether to add it. Otherwise it opens the web version, where you can try it right away.
How do I delete my data?
Delete a single app from its ⋯ menu, or everything at once from Settings → Delete all data. Deleting Quickloom from your device also removes all of its data.
